Swedish Vicar in Dodgy T-Shirt Probe...

We had a little chuckle at this - a Stockholm pastor is being probed by the Church for wearing a dodgy men's t shirt.

Apparently, colleagues saw a photo on his facebook profile of the naughty minister wearing a tee with a print of a well known Swedish porn film, and are currently working out what action to take. The photo was taken while he was supervising a children's trip to France.

Maybe he could have sparked less of an outrage by wearing something slightly less risky - he could have even praised the Lord himself with this amazing Jesus T Shirt from Chunk!

What Back to the Future II didn’t predict very well...

Back to the Future II came to our screens in 1989, and brought with it a little taste of what we could hope to see in everyday life on October 21^st 2015. OK, so we still have four years to go until 2015, but I’ll forget to blog about this by then!!

Robert Zemekis and team came up with some pretty good predictions of life 25 years in the future... video calling at home, touch screen food ordering at restaurants (our local KFC has this J), video advertising hoardings and personal phones. There was also the odd farfetched prediction, but hey, it’d be nowhere near as ace without a flying Delorean!!

BTTF2 SAYS: Cars would not only fly on skyways, they’d also be powered by household waste

REALITY: The World’s 750,000,000 motor vehicles all still drive on congested roads, burning 1 trillion litres of petrol and diesel each year

BTTF2 SAYS: A “Weather Service” schedules rain at uniform times

REALITY: As this week has shown, the weather is less predictable and more disruptive every year!

BTTF2 SAYS: Marty Jnr uses a phone booth.

REALITY: 90% of children own a mobile phone, and are more likely to own one than own a book!

BTTF2 SAYS: Shoes automatically fasten themselves, clothes electronically shrink to fit your size (and kindly talk to you), and Marty’s jacket even contained its own blow drying facility.

REALITY: Afraid not, it’s just plain old normal clothes still – like our (shameless plug) Back to the Future T Shirts

Even if the people’s princess were alive today, she would never have become queen after her separation from Prince Charles – although by 2015, the chances are that Kate Middleton may inherit the aforementioned title!

REALITY: Damn!

BTTF2 SAYS: Jaws 19 is released in October 2015

REALITY: Unless they release 15 Jaws sequels in the next four years, this one’s pretty unlikely!

BTTF2 SAYS: Mass produced Hoverboards are the latest craze for kids

REALITY: This one might not be as far away as we think – see here. But far from being available in all good toy stores!

BTTF2 SAYS: Pizza Hut (and presumably other foods) come in miniature, dehydrated form, and a microwave like “hydrator” is used to cook and expand the food in under 3 seconds.

REALITY: Still cold pizza delivered in a box, I suppose they now have insulated bags on their mopeds!

BTTF2 SAYS: Fax machines are dotted around the house and, along with video calling (got that one right Universal J), fax machines seem to be the messaging system of choice.

REALITY: The fax boom has come and long gone. Email has grossly surpassed the fax as the written communication method of choice.

How Was The Winner Chosen

Just so there is no confusion, we want to outline the process used to select the winner. Mayhem has set in at Truffle Towers this week as us shufflers scramble for our controllers for some seriously old school, retro, and awesomely classic games. Who cares about growing up?!

Brushing the cobwebs aside from our Nintendo NES, Atari, N 64, Sega Master System and the like, TruffleShuffle is reliving the good old days of our mis-spent childhoods with some finger numbing sessions on everyone’s favourite retro video games. Top of our list, of course, it’s the plucky little Italian we have all come to love, King of retro games....Mario! There is no better way to while away the hours than in the world of Mario and his brother Luigi, ducking and diving, level after level, in evermore risky situations. Mama Mia!!

Ferris Buellers’ Back in Town!

Hysteria has struck the Truffle Towers as we are frantically preparing for tonight’s blast from the past showing of legendary, uber cool, awesomely retro flick....’Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ on E4.

Now, for the unlucky lot who have not yet seen this marvel, we thought we’d prepare a little sneaky glimpse into the world of Bueller.

This classic 80’s high-school flick follows the truly epic adventure of cool cat Ferris, his girlfriend Sloane, and more hesitant best buddy Cameron as they embark on a monumental and very eventful skive from high-school, though the streets of Chicago.

Starring the young and laid back to the extreme, Matt Broderick as ‘the guy everyone wanted to be’, the legend... Ferris Bueller, this film follows one day’s antics, giving us a glimpse into the life of a guy living life to the full.

We thought we would share with you a few of our favourite moments from Ferris:

Possibly the most memorable scene of the film for us at Truffle Shuffle, Ferris entertains Chicago with The Beatles classic ‘Twist and Shout’. Gets us in the party spirit every time.

Barbie, 'the' iconic fashion doll of nearly every little girl since 1959 has a new career -- as a computer engineer!

For the first time, Mattel took an online vote, asking people to select the Barbie doll's 125th career by choosing between architect, computer engineer, environmentalist, news anchor or surgeon.

"As a computer engineer, Barbie will show girls that women can turn their ideas into realities that have a direct and positive impact on people's everyday lives in this exciting and rewarding career," she said. Mattel polled fans on Facebook and Twitter for Barbie's next big career change.

However, while the popular vote went to computer engineer, Mattel noted that girls selected news anchor as their favored career for the doll that, over the years, has been an aerobics instructor, nurse, flight attendant, NASCAR driver and an ambassador.

The girls' choice wasn't disregarded. News Anchor Barbie will be the doll's next career.

The toy company, which unveiled both new career-minded dolls at the 2010 American International Toy Fair last weekend, noted that they are both expected to hit store shelves very soon.

Computer Engineer Barbie is going geek chic with a binary code patterned T-shirt. She's also decked out with a pink laptop, a smartphone, a Bluetooth headset, and trendy eye wear.

To add to the idea of being a computer engineer, the doll comes with a code that unlocks exclusive online game content on Barbie.com.

And for all you nerds out there that are wondering what the binary code on the laptop screen says. It says "Barbie Barbie Barbie" in ASCI.

Justin Lee Collins: How showbiz are you?

As he prepares to launch his show Heads or Tails, we sat down with Justin Lee Collins to find out exactly where on the celebometre he resides....

1. Who's the most famous name in your mobile?

It would probably be Jamie Oliver or Mark Ronson. But my favourite name in my mobile would be the musician Richard Hawley. He's a brilliant songwriter and although I wouldn't say we're friends, I would dearly love to. We did a Radio 4 programme a month or so ago and he was on it and we bonded over a pint of Guinness or two and swapped numbers. So maybe this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

2. What's the most bizarre thing you've ever read about yourself?

Goodness me, have I read anything that's particularly bizarre? I don't recall reading anything in print about myself that I thought was necessarily made up, so if it was bizarre it probably came from me.

3. How much is too much for a haircut?

My hair is very important to me so I would pay quite a lot to keep it in the tip top shape that we all know it's in. £200-£300 maybe too much, but then I'd probably still pay that. I go to a salon in Bristol called Maximum FX and Sean my hairdresser is the only man I allow to touch my hair. I've been going to Sean since I was about 11. Well other people can touch it but they are not allowed to cut it or try and shape it in anyway, he's the only one who has this privilege. Sean is the best so there is no amount of money I wouldn't pay because he's worth absolutely every penny, he's kind of like Bristol's Nicky Clarke.
Willing to pay £200-£300 to 'Bristol's Nicky Clarke'!!?! The actual Nicky Clarke would do it for that. 0/5

4. Katie Price. Friend or foe?

I wouldn't call her a friend. Katie and Peter Andre came on the Sunday Night Project and I don't know either of them well enough to call them friends, but I would like to be able to call Peter a friend. I think he's a really, really lovely man and I've seen him quite a few times since and I always like to give him a big cuddle because I think he's a genuinely decent guy. So between the two of them I would like to say I could call Peter a friend but I wouldn't say I was friends with Katie Price, but then also we aren't foes, so we are neither friend nor foe, I would say I'm quite indifferent to her to be honest.

5. What's the weirdest thing you've been sent by a fan?

Unfortunately I've not been sent anything weird by a fan. I would dearly love to be sent bras and socks - not knickers, that's a bit grubby, send me a bra and a nice thick pair of socks. I've got a problem with my socks. My friends tell me my socks are too thin, can socks be too thin on a man? So if someone wants to send me some thicker socks and a bra then I'll be happy, but up until now no one has sent me anything weird. I get very boring mail.

6. Best party ever?

The best party ever was my auntie Lizzie's annual boxing night Christmas party. Her husband at the time had hired a video camera for that party, so there's a betamax videocassette in the family somewhere with Christmas 1984 recorded on it. That was a great do, I was 10.

7. Ever used your fame to get what you want?

No I never have. I've never phoned up asking for anything for nothing, I've never phoned up to reserve a table or any of that nonsense. If I want to go out for a meal and I phone up to get a table and they tell me they are fully booked then I go somewhere else. The day I do that will also be the same day that I shoot myself in the face.

8. How much cash would it take to get you to pose in the buff?

At the moment there's no amount of money, but in the future who knows? Believe me, if you ever see a picture of me anywhere in the buff you know that times are hard for me.

I get sent a lot of t-shirts. There's an online company based in Bristol called Truffle Shuffle who are the t-shirt kings so every now and again I get a nice little package of great t-shirts. I'm wearing one of their designs today, it's the Slush Puppy dog, so that was a pretty good freebie, I love my t-shirts.

10. Ever been chatted up by another celeb?

I'm not sure if this qualifies as being chatted up but Mischa Barton guest hosted the Friday Night Project once and she asked me to escort her to the Berkeley Square Ball. Needless to say I didn't really have anything to wear so I couldn't go. It still keeps me awake at night. I don't know if that was a chat up as such or whether she just needed someone to go with.
He turned down a date with Mischa?! 10/5

It seems despite refusing to get his kit off for our entertainment, declaring the best party he's ever attended was when he was 10 and shamelessly plugging local businesses for free, JLC is more showbiz than not (just), although he really needs to work on his 'don't you know who I am?' mantra. Either Disney has decided Tinkerbell's attire was to 'saucy' or they’ve just decided to make their feminine characters more masculine.

Either way, the new and frankly unimproved uniform and image of Tinkerbell leaves a lot to be desired from the formerly cute minidress clad nymph. The new image is just plain silly. It’s not even that different from Peter Pan. They've crazily opted to ditch the cute strapless green dress, the magic wand, and very visible angel wings. And now, there’s this stupid-looking visor/hat contraption. Disney said it wanted to give “Tink” a tomboyish look. Um, ok......

Yes, Disney claims that it’s new Tinkerbell release out on end of October takes place in the autumn when weather is cooler, but the weather has never affected Tinkerbell couture before. It’s a cartoon character, not a weather dependent human.

What is going on????????

Thundercats Movie - We wish this was really going to happen.....

I don't think I can fully explain the excitement in the TruffleShuffle office when I recieved a message labelled 'Thundercats Movie?'. All the fantastic characters are present including obviously Lion-O (Brad Pitt), Panthro (Vin Diesel) and Tygra (Hugh Jackman). Too good to be true? After watching the trailer we were left questioning what we had just witnessed. Is this really going to happen? Hmmm, Some of those scenes look familiar.....

Well it wasn't until TruffleShuffles resident film guru confirmed our worst fears, the trailer was a homemade fake!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! But all TruffleShuffle members are in agreement, this definitely should happen!! We need a Thundercats: The Movie. This trailer has easily proved that it would be a brilliant movie and we're sure, a great success!!

Please, please, please someone make this!! You won't regret it.

Dirty Dancing film star Patrick Swayze has died.

Dirty Dancing film star Patrick Swayze has died aged 57.

He had been battling pancreatic cancer for nearly two years and died with family at his side on Monday.
Jennifer Grey, who co-starred with Swayze in Dirty Dancing, said in a statement: "Patrick was a rare and beautiful combination of raw masculinity and amazing grace. Gorgeous and strong, he was a real cowboy with a tender heart.
"He was fearless and insisted on always doing his own stunts, so it was not surprising to me that the war he waged on his cancer was so courageous and dignified."

Rob Lowe, who played in a number of films with Swayze, said: "Patrick lived a thousand lifetimes in one lifetime. He was an expert dancer, he wrote hit songs, he starred in hit movies, he was an amazing horseman.
"But the thing I will remember him most for was his amazing love affair with his wife Lisa."
Demi Moore has also paid tribute to her co-star in the hit film Ghost, saying: "Patrick you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives."
She added: "I love and will miss you Patrick."

Heteropoda Davidbowie

Singer David Bowie has had a large, yellow, hairy spider from Malaysia named after him.
A German spider specialist told the Observer newspaper he named the new species after Bowie because he wanted to raise awareness about the discovery.

Peter Jaeger, who has found 200 new species of arachnids in a decade, says he's named it Heteropoda davidbowie.
Jaeger says most of the species he's uncovered are endangered.
"It is working against time," he said. "We are also quickly losing genetic resources that have evolved over more than 300 million years."
Bowie, has yet to react to the news.

How to do the TruffleShuffle....

As we're sure many of you have already guessed - we're named after a very special scene from the 80's classic, The Goonies!

Ever had the urge to re-create Chunk's infamous TruffleShuffle (Do it!!) - well now you can with this hillarious step by step guide which we just found on here...

Step 1
Stand on something like a milk crate or soapbox with your feet together and knees slightly bent.

Step 2
Lift your shirt up to your chin exposing your belly and man-boobs.

(Note: Ladies, it is acceptable for you to just lift your shirt up to your chest exposing only your midsection. But it is generally not recommended for women to do the Truffle Shuffle, it is not a very flattering dance).

Step 3
Rapidly shake your belly and butt while wildly moving your torso from side to side. It should appear that you are having a seizure, but remain standing with your feet in one place.

Step 4 (This is our favourite!)
Scrunch up your face like an angry chipmunk or deranged woodchuck.

Step 5
Make incoherent sounds as if you just stepped out of a cold shower or are speaking in tongues.

Step 6
In the immortal words of Clark ‘Mouth’ Devereaux, - “Do it! DO IT!”
